Michael Craig Martin.
I love the arrangement of objects and the use of colour that both give depth to the image and that;s what makes it more interesting.
David Hockney's ''40 SNAPS of my house'' is an image that I personally find very inspiring because he pays attention to small unimportant personal objects that exist around him, I really like this kind of photography.
I found out this image from Matisse's cut-outs exhibition at the Tate. It is very interesting how life drawing can be done in so many ways, how one human body can be simplified using these forms and shapes in just one colour.
Campana Brothers work interests me so much, it is very creative and the use of a variety of materials and concepts to produce so unique pieces of work, thinking outside the box!
Schiele's drawings inspires me as I am interested in his line and forms that are created while life drawing and subconsciously I adopted his style and the freedom in movement. In this image I really like the pose of the girl and the facial expression as well as the blocks of colour in places.
David Hockney's drawings are my favorite. Words can't describe how much I love his style in drawing. What I mostly like about this image is the patterns that are created all over the page, all the lines, the repeated shapes and the fact that the chair is in the centre getting all the attention while in the background everything is lightly coloured giving depth to the drawing.
This is a photo taken by Yiorgos Lanthimos, one of my favourite Greek filmmakers. It was taken in one of his trips to Cambodia. I really think the view it is taken from makes the photo very interesting as well as its colours. Makes me want to know more about this place, this specific restaurant (?) or even have a digital virtual tour around, really captures the ''aura'' of this environment.
Grayson Perry's Illustrative work really suits the way it is used to decorate objects such as vases or pots. In this particular one I believe the contract of the colours are interesting as well as the kind of chinese theme.
Annette Messager's concept and the theme of her work is quite interesting. the use of toys and fluffy objects reminds me of childhood and recalls memories. The large scale makes her work more ambitious and the colours makes it more playful.
